How many Cleaning Technicians will come to my house?
We typically send a team of two Cleaning Technicians. We do our best to assign the same team to your house every time, however that is not always possible we rest assure you that all our teams are as well trained.
How do the Cleaning Technicians get into my house?
Most of our clients provide us with a key to their homes. The key is coded and your personal information is not on the key. Your Cleaning Technicians will be given your key the morning of your clean and it will be returned to our safe when the at the end of the day. Some clients prefer to provide us with a garage code and some prefer to utilize a lock box.
Do I have to be home when the Cleaning Technicians clean?
No. In fact, most customers are not home when we clean. We know that you are busy and often away from your home. Cleaning teams are trained to work independently, completing their cleaning without anyone being home. However, if someone is at home, this is not a problem.
Do I need to supply any cleaning supplies?
All necessary supplies are provided for including vacuum cleaners, mops, microfiber, cleaning solutions and other needed items. However if you would want something specific used we will be more than glad to use it as long as it is a Green product.
How do I pay for my housecleaning?
Payment is due the day of your cleaning. We accept all major credit and debit cards. We do require a credit card at the time of booking your cleaning, this number is kept of file and only charged when authorized to do so. Some clients prefer to leave a check or cash on the kitchen counter the day of their cleaning. We are absolutely fine with any method of payment that our clients are comfortable with.
What about our pet(s)?
We want you and your pet(s) to be happy while your Cleaning Technicians are in your house! Please leave instructions with the office as to how you wish your pet(s) to be handled. If you have a pet that is questionable around non-family members, we ask that the pet be in a kennel, outside, or in a room that is not to be cleaned.
How can I give my Cleaning Technicians new instructions?
It’s easy! When you have new or extra instructions, you can leave a note on the kitchen counter or you can call the office and we will be sure to give the instructions to your Cleaning Technicians. If it’s instructions you want followed every visit, it’s best to call the office and we will include the information in your file.
What if I need to change my cleaning day this week?
We really appreciate as much notice as possible when you need to reschedule. We hold your spot for you and often turn down other business to do so. If we have enough notice, we can usually fill your spot and keep your Cleaning Technicians working. We will charge a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice. Exceptions are the weeks of Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day and the period beginning the Monday of Thanksgiving week through New Year’s Day. During these high-demand holiday times, if you cancel and/or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged the price of your normal cleaning. Please note – neither holidays nor weekends count for purposes of calculating a 24 or 48-hour notice.
What if I forgot my Cleaning Technicians were coming?
If you provide us with access to your home like a key or garage code, this shouldn’t be a problem. But if you do not provide a key or other method of entry and your Cleaning Technicians arrive and are unable to access your home, you will be charged $50 lock out fee which will be used in part to compensate your Cleaning Technicians for their time.
What if my Cleaning Technicians break an item in my home?
Your Cleaning Technicians are careful with your possessions, but we do know that accidents can happen. If any damage/loss does occur, please notify our office immediately. All of our Cleaning Technicians are bonded and insured.
How can I be sure I will receive quality service?
Our policy is 100% customer satisfaction. We want all of our customers to be delighted with our service! If you have a problem, we will resolve the issue right away. Please call us at 937-619-6026 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Things you can do to prepare for the cleaning visit?
It always helps if any clutter such as dirty clothes, toys, paperwork or any other personal items are put away. Doing so makes the team more efficient and they worry about getting your home to sparkle like it should and not worry about what item goes where. All items are organized as a part of the normal cleaning routine and we’ll gladly organize these items as we clean.
Do I Need an In-Home Estimate?
It is not necessary to have an in-home estimate and in some cases (i.e. same day cleanings) not always possible. Take a look at the services page of our website and select the level of service that best suits your needs. We have a 3 labor hour minimum for one-time and first-time cleanings. Excessive clutter, dirt, grime, soap scum, and the request for additional items (interior appliance cleaning, windows, etc.) may affect the time required to clean your home.
Do I Have to do Anything Before You Arrive?
While we do perform general tidying up, it’s advantageous to have your home picked up as much as possible. If we have to spend time picking items up and putting them away, it may affect the time we are in your home. You may be billed for the extra time needed to perform additional work. In cases of extremely cluttered areas or surfaces, we reserve the right to use our judgment to skip those areas in order to avoid damaging items or if we have safety concerns.
Our hours of operation are from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (although we are sometimes in the office as early as 7). We normally arrive at our first house between 8:15 and 8:45, and the last house at 3:00 p.m.
Unless you are our first cleaning of the day, we are unable to guarantee an exact arrival time. However, we can provide you with a 2-hour window of our estimated arrival time if you call the office the day before your cleaning. Please allow us the flexibility of scheduling our arrival between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. We will strive to meet your requested arrival time but we cannot guarantee it.
If you want to wait for us to arrive, please be home during the estimated window of time to let the cleaner(s) into your home. If no one is home or we are turned away for any reason a cancellation fee will be charged (see Cancellation Policy.)
If you are not home during the estimated window and/or just do not answer the door (sometimes clients are in a part of the house where they don’t hear the doorbell) we will make the effort to call you. If we are able to return later that same day, you will not be charged a cancellation fee, but there will be a charge of $10 per Cleaning Technician for the return travel time.
